As I bitterly stare into my open closet full of clothes that I haven't so much as touched since March (because loungewear is where it's at), I can't help but fall a little bit in love with this Italian greyhound on TikTok. The tiny dog named Tika went viral after sharing a video "complaining" about all the cute clothes she couldn't wear out in 2020 because of social distancing regulations. We appreciate Tika for following the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention's social distancing guidelines, but we also sympathize with her love for fashion. We also can't help but laugh as she proceeds to try on all the outfits that were forced to stay at the back of her (presumably extensive) closet this year.
"I had so many cute outfits planned for this year that I couldn't wear, so I just wanted to show you. See this? I love it. Couldn't wear it," Tika said in a voiceover as she modeled a striped rainbow sweater that accentuated her long neck. After just one week, the video has over five million views, so it's clear that we aren't the only ones who feel honored to be invited to her virtual fashion show. She even showed off a cute cow-print Halloween costume that never got to see the light of day, but there's always next year! Take a closer look at some particularly stylish outfits from Tika's wardrobe ahead.
