I'll admit it: I'm not one to go crazy on Halloween. I think that growing up in Dominican Republic, where Halloween was more of a trend among small groups of people and not really something the majority would take part in, is probably why I don't personally care much about this day. I do, however, enjoy all the hype it gets here in the US. I love seeing kids trick-or-treating, and I love seeing the spooky decorations.
I also love matching costumes with my dog — but I do that regardless of Halloween — and I love seeing the effort people put into their whole looks. While I'm more of a "buy a quick costume on Amazon and pray it fits" type of girl if I do end up actually doing something for Halloween, Colombian beauty YouTuber Laura Sanchez created a look so chic and easy to achieve, I might go the glam Halloween route this year and just copy this witchy look.
Laura seriously captured a whole mood, and I even want to copy her purple hair to really get into it. I also love the fact that while she's Latina, she stayed away from the typical Día de los Muertos makeup look, which is so overdone. She created her own unique approach to celebrate Halloween, complete with a spiderweb and rhinestones.
It's almost impossible to watch the video above and not go "I can totally do that!" It's a quick-ish and easy look that looks really unique and won't break the bank.
