Jimmy Fallon is getting into the sleepwear business. (He is a late-night expert, after all.) The Tonight Show host recently announced his collaboration with Alex Mill on a limited-edition collection of classic, wear-all-day pajamas appropriately called P'Jimmies. What's more, Alex Mill is donating all net proceeds to Feeding America, a domestic hunger-relief organization and food-bank network.
Featuring lots of primary colors and stripes, the collection — which ranges from $20 to $98 — consists of button-down tops, matching pants, T-shirts, a utility-style jumpsuit, and cozy accessories including a cashmere beanie and sleep mask. The pajamas are meant to be worn throughout the day while, say, walking your dog or running errands, "hence the pockets, the fun stripes, the great colors," said Alex Mill Cofounder Somsack Sikhounmuong. "We want you to mix and match them for whatever you might be doing."
Jimmy, meanwhile, expressed excitement over working on a project outside of his show. He told Business of Fashion, "I come up with 100 ideas every day. Some ideas — most ideas — don't really fit in the show, so I like to collaborate with people who are capable of making my ideas a reality." He added, "I couldn't even tell you how much fun it was to collaborate with these guys and you can see how much love and passion they put into their work when you see the final product."
Jimmy unveiled his designs by wearing one of his pajama sets for the entirety of the Nov. 18 episode of The Tonight Show, which also ended with a pajama dance party featuring The Roots. Check those videos out and shop the complete P'Jimmies collection ahead.
