Taylor Swift is taking us to Paris with her new concert special. On Friday, the singer announced that ABC would be airing her City of Lover concert special that was filmed last year. "We filmed my show in Paris in September and thought it'd be fun to share it with you," she wrote on Twitter. The special, which airs on May 17, will include performances from Swift's hit album Lover, as well as some never-before-seen footage. Swift previously gave fans a glimpse of the concert with her live performance of "The Man." As if that wasn't exciting enough, you'll be able to rewatch the special over and over again, since it will be available on Hulu and Disney+ the next day.
The news comes after Swift canceled her upcoming Lover Fest tour due to coronavirus concerns. "I'm so sad I won't be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision," she wrote at the time. "Please, please stay healthy and safe. I'll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what's important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us." Thankfully, we'll have some Swift music to rock out to (even if it is from our living rooms). Watch the trailer for the special above.
