A new psychological thriller will explore the dangers of romanticizing prior decades and looking upon the past with rose-colored glasses. Also it looks like there's gonna be some really sick '60s fashions.
Directed by Edgar Wright — who previously delivered cult classics like Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and Baby Driver — Last Night in Soho follows an aspiring fashion designer enamored with the 1960s who suddenly finds herself transported to the decade which turns out to be not as swinging as she thought. Thomasin McKenzie stars in the film alongside Matt Smith and Anya Taylor-Joy, who actually sings the cover of Petula Clark's "Downtown" playing in the trailer. Following several delays, it seems Last Night in Soho will finally be hitting theaters on Oct. 29. Watch the trailer for the surreal period piece above.
