Something wicked this way comes. After being teased with the sequel to Maleficent for more than a year, fans were finally treated to the very first look at Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in May. And now, a few months later, we have an official trailer to feast our eyes on.
Set several years after the first film, the trailer shows the story continuing to explore the complex relationship between the iconic Disney villain (Angelina Jolie) and Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning). The footage also gives us glimpses of Michelle Pfeiffer's new character, Queen Ingrith, as well as the new Prince Phillip, who will be played by Harris Dickinson this time around. Unfortunately, his proposal to Aurora isn't approved of by Maleficent, who has no qualms about letting him and his family know of her distaste for love.
Watch the trailer above before the film hits theaters on Oct. 18.
