The Beckhams, Sienna Miller, and More It Brits Collaborate For a Cause
In the midst of London Fashion Week Monday night, stylish Brits gathered in London for an event that combined high fashion and an important cause. Hosted by the Earl and Countess of Mornington; Vogue editor Anna Wintour; Colin Firth's wife, Livia Firth; and Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet, the evening showcased "green" dresses designed by five of the UK's elite fashion names: Burberry, Victoria Beckham, Christopher Kane, Erdem, and Roland Mouret. Following the social and environmental guidelines outlined by the Green Carpet Challenge, the designers created pieces that will be sold on Net-a-Porter with 20 percent of sales going toward The Global Fund that fights AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria.
Right on the heels of Victoria's fun time at New York Fashion Week, she held hands with her husband, David Beckham, at the event before linking up with the fellow designers and Anna Wintour. Also on hand for the London night out were stylish stars like Sienna Miller, Stella McCartney, and Poppy Delevigne, plus Benedict Cumberbatch and Colin Firth.
