The Lip Liner
First, I tested out the Monochrome Moment Precision Lip Crayons ($26), which click up from the bottom of the narrow metallic tube like a mechanical pencil. The formula is creamy enough so that it did not drag across my lips, but was still solid enough not to smear. I appreciated the slanted tip of the pencil, which made it easy to outline my defined cupid's bow precisely. Once I had filled in my lips, I liked how comfortable the product was to wear, and valued how natural-looking the pink-brown "She's Proud" color was. The product is a little more expensive than I would typically spend on a lip pencil, but if you're looking for a luxury option, this one is superb.
